Our General Psychiatry Services

Dr Wick is an adult psychiatrist with a special interest in treatment-resistant depression in patients during the transitional stage of life (approximately age 50-70). This stage of life often represents major lifestyle changes (eg. retirement) coupled with changing hormonal profiles. The combination of these factors increases the risk of depression. The addition of increased medical co-morbidity at this age further complicates management of depression and leads to suboptimal patient outcomes.

Dr. Wick also sees patients for anxiety, PTSD and other mood disorders. He also sees a limited number of patients for ADHD management.

General Psychiatry reviews are Medicare rebatable but will incur an out-of-pocket cost. Please be aware that ADHD management has a separate fee schedule which can be made available on request.

Dr Wick does not manage patients under 18 years of age, eating disorders or autism spectrum disorder. He does not admit inpatients.

Neuralia TMS are the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) specialists in Perth, WA. TMS is non-invasive treatment for depression and several other conditions.
